A New Two-Sided Class of Lifetime Distributions: Applications to Complete and Right Censored Data

In this article, we first define a new two-sided distribution called the Kumaraswamy and then propose generalized class of lifetime distributions via compounding baseline distribution. One advantages is that they can be unimodal or bimodal. The general model specified by taking exponential as Some basic properties proposed are derived. parameters estimated means maximum likelihood method. addition, parametric non-parametric bootstrap procedures used to obtain point estimates confidence intervals model. A simulation study has been conducted examine bias mean square error estimators. We illustrate performance two real data sets (one complete set other right censored set) both show more appropriate compared Weibull, gamma, weighted exponential, transmuted distributions.
